These descriptions represent the abbreviations used in the table columns: GR - Graphics, SO - Sound, CN - Control, GP - Gameplay, LS - Lastability (Replay Value), and OVR - Overall.
Scott's review system is based on a 1.0 to 5.0 scale.
The review scores can be generalized as follows: 5.0 - 4.5 is excellent, 4.4 - 4.0 is very good, 3.9 - 3.5 is good, 3.4 - 3.0 is decent, 2.9 - 2.5 is questionable, 2.4 - 2.0 is shoddy, and lower than 2.0 is crap.
Remember that the overall score is not always an average of the five category scores.
You should realize that each game is compared to and scored on what else was available at its release. Therefore, the later a game arrived on N64, the higher I set my standards.
Finally, the following table is sorted by sound in descending order first and then by release date in reverse chronological order for tied games. You can click a column heading to sort by that category.
